The sky's not the limit

Sometimes we feel frustrated and "boxed in".  It's not hard to be aware of all the things that "limit" us here: the extent of our education, the quality of our upbringing, the nature of our work, our own personal failings.  We wonder sometimes if life is ever going to "come together".  I think it's good to remember that the Lord, himself, planted each one of us here.  He picked this specific time in history and this particular place geographically.  He gave us the unique set of folks who raised us and He brought us through a unique training program to shape our character.  He has given each of us a one-of-a-kind life because he has a one-of-a-kind role for each of us to play on this earthly stage.  Instead of feeling limited, maybe we should feel that we are special agents, fitted for heaven-created assignments that we can best carry out.  When it comes to our purpose, we find it in heaven, and even the sky is not the limit for us.

2 Thessalonians 1:11 With this in mind, we constantly pray for you, that our God may count you worthy of his calling, and that by his power he may fulfill every good purpose of yours and every act prompted by your faith.

blessings,
