marching toward eternity

This day's a step, just one more step, toward eternity.

My Father waits, will one day greet me, when this shore I leave.

Heaven watches us in life as day by day we walk;

-

We may think this flesh is all, but in our hearts...there's more.

-

Forever is a place past time where God does truly reign.

-

Now's the time to face the Lord and let Him fill our days.

-

We're marching toward eternity, the seconds lead to years.

-

But growing old draws us close... a place beyond all fears.

-

How shall I live, now, in this place with forever looming near?

-

I'll face the Son and then bow down and let Him fill my heart.
