Subject: Hidden beauty

Lovely white petals from a dogwood modestly seemed to ask for attention by the side of the forest path.  In a place where few people pass, and fewer pause, the Lord planted beauty.  It occurred to me that God is in the practice of proclaiming His handiwork and glory for more than human eyes to see.  He sees His work and puts it on display for more than human eyes.  We are participants in His creative wonder and we are not the source of that beauty.  We may feel that we, also, are blooming deep in the woods and that no one sees...but there is One who more than sees...He loves and cares!

Psalm 145:9 The Lord is good to all, And His tender mercies are over all His works.
