Fw: all, everyone and only

Romans 3:23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God
-
John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
-
The most common problem required the most uncommon solution.  In these two passages we all find ourselves in our greatest crisis.  It starts when we arrive on the planet with an inborn nature that just goes its own way.  We learn from Proverbs 22:15 that "foolishness is bound in the heart of a child".  We just show up that way.  David said in Psalm 51:5 "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
and in sin did my mother conceive me."  An analogy might be UPS or FEDEX deliveries....What if every package left on a doorstep came with a flaw?  What a problem!  The Bible makes it clear that this universal problem can be traced back to the beginning, when the first human couple chose their own way instead of God's way.  From that point on, just like any other trait that is passed through genes...rebellion from God was passed down, along with hair color, height and the rest of heredity.
-
God designed a way to correct the rebellion of one man (Adam) by providing an opportunity for belief to every person (You and Me) by believing in His only Son.
-
The most universal rebellion called for a single solution.  It's not complicated, but it is profound, amazing and necessary!

"Death is inevitable.  Life is a choice!"

John 11:25
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live."
